Volunteering: Helping Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice
The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Trust offers hospice care services for adult patients and their families across West Surrey and part of North-East Hampshire. It is centered on the Care Hospice in Waverley Lane Farnham.
If you are looking for a meaningful way to spend some spare time, there is a wide range of opportunities as a volunteer, for example assisting in the care home, in the network of charity shops or with fund-raising activities.
Charity Shops: The network of 19 charity shops embraces most of the local towns with in a 10-mile radius of Farnham, including Farnham itself, Aldershot, Ash, Farnborough, Fleet, Guildford and Haslemere. They raise vital money to fund the supportive and end-of-life care which Phyllis Tuckwell offers to local patients and families who are living with a terminal illness, such as cancer.
Training: Phyllis Tuckwell offers training and support to its volunteers.
