Luminosa Voices
All Saint‘s Church, Odiham
Saturday evening 2nd April 2022
“Luminosa Voices” is an eighty-strong choir based in Alton. They seek to bring a fresh take on choral repertoire, encompassing a range of beloved Sacred Music, Opera, Jazz and 20th Century Western Art Music.

This coming Easter, they celebrate their twelth anniversary - two years later than scheduled! - with a concert at All Saint’s Church, Odiham (The Bury, Odiham, RG29 1LZ).

- The heart of the programme will be the large-scale “da Vinci Requiem”, composed in 2019 by Cecilia McDowall to mark the 500th anniversary of da Vinci‘s death. The piece will be conducted by Rebekah Abbott, Luminosa‘s artistic director - and accompanied by Michael Higgins on the Odiham organ.
- Also - Vaughan William‘s “Five Mystical Songs” with Stuart Orme (baritone).
- And - a new work "Salve Deus, Rex Judaeorum" by composer Alison Willis.
