Bells Piece
Bells Piece is part of the Leonard Cheshire Service for adults with learning disabilities. It is a welcoming and attractive home offering 24-hour support to adults with learning difficulties. Bells Piece was founded in the late 1970s, with a characterful detached building situated on the Surrey/Hampshire borders within extensive grounds and gardens leading into Farnham Park. It is at Hale Road, Farnham, Surrey GU9 9RL.
The Centre includes an activity centre offering a range of activities such as gardening, arts and crafts, literacy, IT classes, healthy eating programmes, music and games. The home is very sociable, with a family atmosphere and lots of evening and weekend activities for residents to get involved in.
Bells Piece maintains a strong community presence, with a large support and volunteer network and close links to the town. Products of the horticulture work are offered at the Centre for public sale.
