CTF Annual General Meeting 2020
CTF holds its A.G.M. each autumn. The 2019 A.G.M. took place on the evening of Thursday 24th October at St.Mark’s Church, Upper Hale.
This year, 2020, like all other groups, our arrangements must comply with COVID-19 rules applying at the time. The plan is to hold the A.G.M. by “Zoom”, starting at 7:30 p.m on Wednesday 21st October.
The meeting offers the opportunity to representatives of Christian initiatives serving Farnham to submit or present a brief report — reports received before the meeting will be made available from this page.
Watch here for further details. To gain access to the “Zoom” meeting, you will need a pass code - please enquire of the CTF Secretary beforehand.
Our A.G.M. is a public meeting. Although of special interest to the town’s churches, their congregations and the hundreds of people active in supporting the local community, all are welcome to attend and take part. The meeting normally takes about one-and-a-half hours.
Michael McDonnell, from St.Joan of Arc Catholic Church, who has served as CTF Chair for the past year, will chair the meeting.
The meeting agenda includes:
- Election of officers for the coming year;
- A brief review of the main activities of CTF during the past year;
- An opportunity for each of the many Christian groups and organisations which support our local community throughout the year to report briefly on their activities (reports are included within the meeting minutes);
- An opportunity for church leaders, particularly those new to the town, to share their thoughts.

In April 2009, the CTF Council drew up an Action Plan for the following 12-month period. A consultative questionnaire was sent to local congregations and networks and responses obtained. Responses were assembled into a single document, which can be downloaded from the following link.
The Action Plan was updated to reflect the responses and the updated plan can also be downloaded from the following link.
