Christian Aid in Minehead and Alcombe 2019:
The Christian Aid Committee for Minehead and Alcombe wish to thank everyone who donated money or gave of their time to ensure a very successful week.
Thanks to your generosity we raised a total of £2360.51. Of that total £722.93 came from street collection, £821.57 from the annual Rainbow Fair, £307.81 from Church collections and a further £508.20 from a concert by Minehead Male Voice Choir held at Minehead Baptist Church
The work of Christian Aid is important to all of us who work with the charity. In today’s world where we read so much about the problems in Syria, Iraq, and the ongoing problem of feeding and educating the poorer societies of our world, it is important that we do not ignore the needs of those less fortunate than we are.
Thank you to all of you, who helped Minehead and Alcombe to make, no matter how small or how great, an impact on the situation.
