Please come along and support the following expression of hope and community.
It's called 'Beautiful Attitudes' and will be performed by a group of people from across west Somerset and drawn from different denominations of faith.
THE BEAUTIFUL ATTITUDES
Was written in the First Covid Lockdown by Lynne Wooldridge.
It is a celebration of the fact that we are entering a normal that is a bit more promising and about the potential for a "new normal" which recognises what we have learnt from these challenging times.
Daphne West has brought her considerable skill in taking promising singers and has polished them until that are extraordinary.
The people who perform have arrived from various places, but they are all from West Somerset.
What they have in common is the exuberance, laughter and tears, they have breathed into the words.
Our journey has been joyful and uplifting and we would like to offer you the fruits of our labours, in the hope that it will make your hearts soar and fill you with peace and hope.
We are dedicating our performances to the Ukraine families who have joined our community.
We welcome them and offer them our support during their time with us.
The money collected during our performances will be used to help replace some of what they had to leave behind.
MAY THIS ENDEVOUR BE A BLESSING FOR THOSE WHO ARE WEARY, ANXIOUS, ISOLATED, REJECTED,
FEARFUL, LOST, GRIEVING, OVERBURDENED, LONGING, ANGRY OR DESPARING,
AND REMIND US TO REJOICE AND BE GLAD FOR WE ARE BLEST.

Tuesday 12th July Porlock Methodist Church
Monday 18th July St Andrew's Church, Minehead
Friday 22nd July Alcombe Methodist Church
All performances start at 7.30pm, Entry is free with light refreshments and a retiring collection for Minehead Homes for Ukraine
