The 10% Meal
How often have you gone without a meal, because quite simply, the cupboards are totally empty?
How often have you wished that the meal in front of you could be more than has been presented?
How often have you considered those overseas families who, because of drought or political unrest, have gone without basic food or fresh clean water for several days at a time?
Your response to the above will probably be ‘never' or ‘not that often', but it is a fact that these situations affect many millions in the third world.
Christian Aid works tirelessly to bring relief to those in need either by direct supply or through training in farming husbandry.
Our 10% meal is a way to highlight the plight of those in greatest need. Every ticket purchased will guarantee you at least a bowl of hot soup and bread. For 10% of the ticket holders, and by random selection, the meal will be upgraded to include a main course and a dessert.
Tickets priced at £10 each (free for children) available from your church representative. Numbers will be limited so please get in early.
