MARCH 2021

There have been three well attended meetings where church leaders in Luton spoke openly of their experiences of racism, their hopes for the future and their regrets for the past.  Over the last 2 months, ater  discussions involving many people, it has been decided that a smaller group will be formed to provide a lead to the church in Luton on racial justice.

 JANUARY 2021 - Let's make 2021 a good year!

Monday January 18 to Monday January 25 was the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  Prayer meetings were held online and by telephone conferences.

 

DECEMBER 2020

Despite restrictions due to covid the churches were very active over the Chrsitmas period.

JUNE 2020

The Churches of Biggelswade wanted to gift something to the community as a way of encouragement at this time so they produced this Video

MAY 2020

On May 31 we celebrated Pentecost Sunday.

APRIL 2020

Church buildings everywhere are closed  for public gatherings. However the Church is still very much open for business with online meetings etc plus pastoral contact being maintained. For Instance Biggleswade Churches Together have  regular services and meetings and have supported Christian aid Week,

 

JANUARY 2020

 During the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity there was a  Service at All Saints Queens Park in Bedford

 The service was led by Rt Revd Richard Atkinson, Bishop of Bedford and entitled "Unusual Kindness"
