Community

March Foodbank

In partnership with Ely Foodbank, who come under the Trussell Trust, we opened a Foodbank in March in November 2013.

The Foodbank currently distributes food to local people in crisis on Tuesdays (1 - 2.30pm) from Centenary Baptist Church on High Street (opposite Cassano's restaurant). Clients need to obtain a voucher before collecting food.

Anyone interested in volunteering to help with Foodbank in any way. please contact Barbara Taylor at

Coronavirus

Following Government guidance, churches in March are not meeting.  Churches are doing what they can to "meet" virtually!

It is best if you make contact with the church directly  A list of churches is here

Centenary Baptist Church has set up an email address

Anyone in the community, those who go to church and those who do not, can contact that email address and ask for prayer.
