Praise Party at St Wendreda's Hall. A number of children and their parents got together to learn about the Armour of God. Ephesians 6:10-18
Then, using cardboard and lots of tape, we set about making out own suit of armour, based on the Bible passage.
Enormous fun was had by all!

864 mince pies given away!
A group of Christians from across the town, gave away 864 mice pies as a different way of celebrating the gift of Jesus ot us all.
In addition, a manger scene was constructed and allowed people of all ages to take a picture of themselves in the manger - some used a large picture frame as well!
A great time was had by all even though it did start to rain soon after lunch!

Advent Praise Party
A funtime to celebrate the start of Advent.
8 Children plus their parents and helpers, once again met at St Wendreda's Church Hall to celebrate and praise God together.
We learned about Advent, and what it meant, and created Advent Wreaths to take home to remind us each week of what we had learned.

Pumpkin Heroes
A light hearted Christian alternative to a halloween party.
12 children, plus parents and helpers, got together in St Wendreda's Church Hall for an afternoon of singing, games, craft and pumpkin decoration.
We learned that if we let Jesus take out all the Yuccky stuff from us He can fill us with his light. The yuccky stuff was all the innards of the pumpkin! The pumpkins had a heart cut out rather than something scary, and lights were put inside to show the light of Jesus.
Some children made lanterns from paper, or decorated a jam jar, and put a light in them.
