All Saints Church, Tilford
150th Anniversary
For the past 150 years, All Saints Church has served the community of Tilford. The current church building was consecrated on 10th July 1867.
The local community have valued the church and continued support will be essential to preserve the spiritual heart of the village.
A special programme of events commemorated the anniversary. Many in the community joined in celebrating this important village milestone, in so doing ensuring that All Saints Church will continue to serve future generations living in and around Tilford.
A summary of the programme of 2017 Anniversary Events is given below.
| 5th March Sunday | Pancake Sunday - pancakes to share after the 10:00 a.m service |
| 6th May Saturday | Organ Recital by Stephen Lacey at 6:30 p.m (tickets £12.50) |
| 3rd-4th June | Flower Festival. |
| 8th July Saturday | Village Fête. Church stall and raffle |
| 16th July Sunday | Village Lunch. Celebratory meal in the Institute; 12:30 p.m; booking essential |
| 23rd-24th Sept | Art & Photography Exhibition. Entries - of any subject - invited from children and adults in any way associated with Tilford or The Bourne. Entry fee £1 adults; 50p children |
30th Sept- | Art & Photographic Exhibition. Second weekend - see above |
| 29th Oct Sunday | All Saints Festival. The Bishop joins us to celebrate our Patronal Festival. Drinks & nibbles following the 10:00 a.m service |
| 18th Nov Saturday | Christmas Oratorio - with Tilford Bach Society, orchestra, chorus and singers |
| 9th Dec | Christmas Tree Festival. A display of trees decorated by local organisations |
