Revd.David Uffindell becomes new Rector
at St.Andrew’s Farnham
The Revd.David Uffindell was instituted as the new Rector of Farnham on Thursday 29th September at 7:30 p.m.
Revd. David Uffindell was formerly Vicar of Holy Trinity, Sunningdale. Originally from Hull in East Yorkshire, where some of his family still live, David is 54. He studied Law at Cambridge and Theology at Oxford.
He worked in church leadership in Kingston-upon-Thames and in Tolworth, Surbiton, for 10 years, before going to Sunningdale in 1998.
He is married to Kathryn, currently a Maths teacher at a girls school near London, following some 20 years spent as a solicitor. David and Kathryn have three children: Zoe, Tim and Josh.
On his appointment, David said:
“I am really delighted to be joining you in Farnham as your new Rector. It seems that it is a very exciting time both for the church and also for the community. It will be a privilege to serve God with you and to begin to get to know you very soon.”
