DECEMBER 11th, at 6.00pm, we the Christians of Minehead, have been asked to provide a CHRISTMAS CAROLS PROCESSION through Minehead . The plan is to gather in the CAR PARK of Sacred Heart Church just before 6.00pm. At 6.00 pm Fr Michael will Bless and turn on the lights of THE CRIB (minus the Infant Jesus, of course) and then for the procession to walk slowly down to FRIDAY STREET and thus to THE AVENUE, ending up after joyfully singing our way down , at the BEACH HOTEL. Friday 11th is the evening of REVIVE MINEHEAD'S CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA, and the presence of a UNITED GROUP OF CHRISTIANS singing CAROLS will re-inforce the CHRISTIAN MESSAGE THAT WE ARE ABOUT TO CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOUR, THE WORD - MADE FLESH. |
