Creationtide Pilgrimage
A two part walk along the 7.5 mile Glastonbury Way on 19th and 20th Sept.
Part 1: Friday 19th Sept - Meet in front of Town Hall at 10.15am for 10.30 start. We will go up Wearyall Hill, along the Brue past St Brides, and back via the Withy Walk, finishing at St John's for a cup of tea. Approximately 4 miles
Part 2: Saturday 20th Sept - Meet at the URC at 10.15am for 10.30 start. Up Bushy Coombe, along Paradise Lane, up Stonedown Lane, up the Tor and back past the Chalice Well. We will finish with a cup of tea at the Methodist Church. Approximately 3.5 miles.
Each walk is approximately 2-2.5 hours long and challenging in places. Sturdy footwear needed. This will not be a guided tour of the Glastonbury Way, but an opportunity to reflect, to enjoy God's Creation, repent of our misuse, and commit ourselves to lives of respect for nature and all creation.
