• Ecumenical prayers at a different church in our Churches Together group each month. All welcome.

Especially for primary age children and their parents/carers. 

• Craft activities including making Christingles and nativity ornaments, worship with Christmas songs, and delicious food (with veggie option).
• Free (donations will be welcome to help cover cost of food etc).

A joint venture of Stoneygate Baptist Church and St Mary's and St Guthlac's churches, Knighton. (All children must be accompanied)

• 'Come, Lord, Come' - We celebrate the start of Advent with the choirs of both St Mary's and St Guthlac's in a special service of readings, music and prayers in expectation of the coming of Jesus, the Son of God. 

• ELF - Christmas Family Comedy

Film starts at 6.30pm donation towards refreshments £2.50

Mulled wine, Pop Corn, Ice Cream during the film & at the interval Cumberland Sausage Hot Dogs (Vegetarian Sausages available) - with all the trimmings

• The highlight of this service, supporting the Children's Society, is the lighting of Christingle candles

• Enjoy a relaxed service for all ages, on the theme of light, in support of the Children's Society. Come and have a go at making your very own Christingle. 

• An interactive service that tells the story of Jesus' birth. Gifts of food collected for people in need (Tinned and packet foods only)

• A service celebrating the birth of Jesus told in nine short bible readings, with Christmas carols, hymns and choral music. 

• followed by mulled wine and mince pies.

• Aylestone, Rolleston and Knighton Memory Cafes are joining together for a "special event"
• A fabulous local band will be coming to sing songs
