A joint venture of Stoneygate Baptist Chruch and St Marys and St Guthlacs churches, Knighton (all children must be accompanied) 

The preacher will be Revd john Plant, Church Relations Manager for Christian Aid in the East Midlands. 

This year our prayers will be centred on the people of Ethiopia.

Come for worship, fellowship and learning together, and to show your support for the marvellous work done by Christian Aid in support of the poor of the world. Refreshments will be served.

A collection for Christian Aid will be taken.

Carols with some of the groups who use the church building throughout the year

Make your own Christingle: An informal lay-led service suitable for all ages in support of the Children's Society when everyone will have the opportunity to make their own Christingle.

During this service our children's group will perform the nativity story -The service will be held in the hall next to the church (Holbrook Hall) to enable us to use the stage. Gifts of tinned and packet foods are welcome for donation to people in need locally.
