PUBLIC LECTURE
Richard North will speak about the history and spiritual tradition of the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.  This is in preparation for Walsingham Day on 22nd February when the statue of Our Lady of Walsingham arrives from the shrine in Norfolk on a visit to Guildford Cathedral.

Free admission by ticket (with retiring collection) obtainable from Guildford Cathedral Booking Office (may be booked on line).

Summary: WALSINGHAM COMES TO GUILDFORD CATHEDRAL
Description:

WALSINGHAM DAY
The statue of Our Lady of Walsingham will be received at the West Door of the Cathedral at 11:50 a.m.  This will be followed by the Angelus and then by Solemn Mass.  Healing ministries will be offered from 2:15 until 3:15 p.m and the day will conclude with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at 3:30 p.m.
