Latest update on what can be done,
in the light of Covid-19/Coronavirus

In Newport Pagnell, with the churches closed, there may still be a collection point for food donations in the Medical Centre (box in the ground-floor hall area by the far window).

See also NP Covid-19 Group webpage for additional information.

There may also still be collecting points in local supermarkets.

Please do keep donating if possible and sensible mkfoodbank, and many thanks for your support [Geoff Morris]

Many of our congregations already make regular contributions to the Foodbank for which we are extremely grateful—in fact there would not be a Foodbank without you! Many others make a donation at Harvest festival time which fills the shelves at the warehouse for a while. To provide another boost to stocks during the year, the Big Little Give (BLG) campaign was introduced, to take place during March.

Donations of non-perishable food items are always welcome. The following "Shopping List" suggests other items that are very welcome.

Perhaps you could organize a collection at your place of work or your local school. I am happy to arrange to pick up any donations. I am also happy to come along and talk to your group about the Foodbank if that would help.

For any further information please contact me (Geoff Morris) on 01908 617050. See FoodBank for more information.

To find a collection point for food items,
have a look in your local church.

Thanks to generous donations received we are able to help many families including a single mother of three who was involved in an accident at work and could not support herself and her children on statutory sick pay.
