St  Bernadettes Roman Catholic Church, Nunthorpe

St Bernadette's Roman Catholic

Mass was first celebrated in Ormesby Village Hall in 1960. A church-cum-hall was then built on Gypsy Lane in 1962 (Architect Frank Swainston). This was substantially altered between 1995 and 1999 to create a permanent church and was consecrated on September 7 2000 by Bishop John Crowley.

 St Mary's Church Nunthorpe

St Mary's

The parish of Nunthorpe is situated on the southern edge of Teesside, in the Diocese of York. It is a largely residential community of over 9,000 people straddling the boundary of two local authorities: Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland. It marks the transition from the urban settlement of Middlesbrough to the rural and moorland areas to the south.

The church, situated on the south edge of Nunthorpe, towards Great Ayton and Stokesley, has a spectacular view of the Cleveland Hills, including Roseberry Topping, and the North Yorks Moors, making it a beautiful venue for weddings.

St Mary's church lies within a growing community of active people and we like to think there is something for everyone.

 St Cuthberts

St Cuthberts Parish Church

Our vision at St Cuthberts is to grow in our relationship with God and to share the ‘Good News' of God's saving love. This love was expressed supremely through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and continues with the ongoing presence and work of God's Holy Spirit here with us on earth. We want to be a church family that continues to grow in Christ-likeness as it serves the needs of the local community, reflecting something of the love, joy and peace of God's Kingdom

 St Andrews URC

St. Andrew's URC

St Andrew's URC is a modern Church in keeping with the surrounding houses of Marton. The Church lies in its own green area and has the benefit of a large car park. The Church mainly serves the communities of Marton and Nunthorpe, on the southern fringe of the town of Middlesbrough. The loose seating in the main church allows it to be used as a hall. Several other rooms are available for hire, and are used by various organisations. Boys Brigade meetings are held weekly.
