Lancaster District CVS

is seeking to appoint a

  Senior Administrative Officer

We wish to recruit someone to our small, friendly team, who will work to ensure our organisation has effective administration, governance, financial and communication systems and procedures to enable colleagues, trustees and the organisations we support to meet our organisational objectives.

You will need to be proactive multi-tasker, systematic and solutions focused, have administrative and supervisory experience, be literate, numerate and have good IT skills and the ability to provide a high quality, professional service to those we support. A track record of working as a trusted member of a senior team in a support role would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to explore new ideas and approaches, to learn new skills and take on new challenges are essential. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, working directly with a board and an understanding of the non-profit sector would be distinct advantages.

Our charity office is in Lancaster but the ability to work from home, with reliable internet access, will be important. Later in the year, the applicant may need to be able to travel occasionally within Lancaster District and in some cases, across Lancashire.

We welcome applicants from all age groups and backgrounds.
