UK CHRISTIAN MEDITATION COMMUNITY
‘The central message of the New Testament is that there is really only one
prayer and that is the prayer of Christ. It is a prayer that continues in our
hearts day and night. It is the stream of love that flows constantly
between Jesus and his Father. It is the Holy SpiritIt is the most
important task of any fully human life to become as open as possible to
this stream of love. We have to allow this prayer to become our prayer, to
enter into the experience of being swept beyond ourselves into this
wonderful prayer of Jesus. It is as though we have to create a space
within ourselves that will allow the consciousness of the prayer of Jesus to envelop us in this powerful mystery.' Fr John Main OSB

Time 4 Two's - a fun place for children to learn and grow
Time 4 Two's continues to meet at St Catherine's Church each Friday during term time between 10.30 and 12.00. We offer a warm social space where parents, carers, and children aged 2 to 5 can enjoy various fun activities, refreshments, friendship, and fellowship.
We have been fortunate to receive funding from Awards for All to help us in what we seek to do including special sessions of Forest School and gardening activities to utilise the benefits of outdoor learning.
Anyone free on a Friday morning is welcome to call in, and if you know anyone who might like to bring their pre-schooler to the sessions then please tell them to come and try us out. Older people who might want to consider helping by volunteering are welcome to call in for a cup of coffee.
Horwich Carnival "Churches Together in Horwich and Rivington" are represented at the Horwich Carnival, where people can find out more about our individual churches and facilities.
