We hold all our churches in CTH&D in our prayers, and, in particular, some churches have shared highlights or asked for specific prayer needs below.

- We give thanks for the children and families now attending our new Families@4 service on the second Sunday of every month at St Richard's church 4pm.
- We give thanks for the people who have agreed to work in our churchyard at All Saints on a regular basis from the beginning of March, helping to keep the churchyard welcoming and accessible for all visitors. We are also so grateful for donations which have helped us buy tools for this work. We pray that this work will be beneficial for all.
- We ask for prayer for all who attend our Talking Jesus course at St Richard's at 2pm on Thursday afternoons until end of February, and for all who join us at the same time from 14th March for our Diocesan Lent course Living Christ.
- All are welcome to join our Lent lunches on Ash Wednesday ("elevenses") at St George's after the service for Macmillan Nurses, March 15th 12-2 at Heydown Farm, Punnetts Town for Christian Aid, March 22nd 12 onwards at St George's for Age Concern.

On the 1st March, the World Day of Prayer will be hosted here for the area, at 10.30, prepared by the women of Slovenia
We give thanks for the commitment of the variety of ministers who come to our church week by week to maintain our regular pattern of services, supporting Rev Sally.
We pray for a long lasting influence on, and strong links with, our parish school, as the children go through Lent and prepare for Easter

We are using the 6 yearly revision of the Electoral roll to contact those on the fringe of our church, hoping to draw them more into our church family.
The annual pancake party at the Vicarage on 5 March brings in families in the afternoon and others in the evening. We enjoy getting to know one another.
We hope that our family service on 3 March, with an illusionist, Rev Nathan Ward, will be widely advertised and well attended.
The Lent home groups start on Tuesday 12 March, shared across the Benefice with St Bartholomews in Burwash.

Churches Together in Heathfield & District
Praise for the faithful service and energy of the Street Pastors & the Prayer Team.
The base for the Street Pastors and the SP Prayer Team, on the second Friday of each month, in the afternoons (2.30pm. to about 5.30pm.) is now Union Church Coffee Lounge. Everyone is welcome to join us for all or part of the afternoon.
Christian Aid in Heathfield and District
As we prepare for Christian Aid week 12-18th May 2019, some dates for diaries:
Wednesday 1st May following 9.30 Communion service with prayers for healing at St George's, Broad Oak, a coffee morning for Christian Aid week.
Saturday 11th May at Welcome Church Welcome Brekkie starts at 830am
