Workaholics Anonymous Support
The “Workaholics Anonymous” recovery group which was meeting on Monday evenings during 2017 and 2018 is now ceased.
Instead, the group is currently (December 2018) looking at setting up a monthly on-line meeting. This could commence during January 2019. Once decided, the details will be included within the Meetings section of the main Workaholics Anonymous website - please CLICK HERE
If interested, please refer to this web-site, where you will find a range of phone, Skype and e-mail meetings listed - each offering recovery opportunities.
Workaholics Anonymous is a Twelve Step, self-help program based on the successful recovery program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Its purpose is to help those who suffer from compulsive work behaviours, including not only job-related activity, but, also, other types of workaholism, including compulsive “busyness”, morbid worry about self-worth, and work aversion.
Founded in the USA in 1983, Workaholics Anonymous is open to everyone who wishes to stop working compulsively and desires support for becoming a “human being” instead of a “human doing”. The principle of anonymity is strictly observed. No dues or fees are charged.
