on Saturday 20th December we held a Christmas Open Air Nativity Service
which started at the Parish Church, Newport Pagnell
People from all the local churches walked down the High Street from the Parish Church with Mary, Joseph and the donkey;
The couple made their way to Market Hill, seeking accommodation on the way.
To hear an interview with the Donkey, check your audio is enabled, that the volume is up, and then click on the following arrow in the box
The drama unfolded around Market Hill (the Boots/The Dolphin end of the High Street) and was followed by some popular and well known carols.
Carol singing and the drama help us to remind ourselves and all who heard it what Christmas is really about (see also Why is the Christmas Story special? )
