About Us

Christians Together in Minehead links together formally the Anglican, Methodist, United Reformed Church, Roman Catholic and Quaker churches and has informal links with other churches in the town.

It holds committee meetings for representatives of these churches three times a year, as well as an AGM, and organises a variety of interchurch activities.

The constitution of CTIM includes these aims -
CTIM expresses the common Christian commitment of churches in Minehead and Alcombe enabling them to:

Gain in mutual understanding and unity
Share in the ecumenical movement

Bear united witness in the community and serve it more effectively
Give such expression to their common faith and devotion as may be found desirable

It works within the 1952 Lund Conference statement that      "we act together in all matters except those in which deep differences of conviction compel us to act separately"
