Pentecost 2018 Events in Liverpool
Hope Street Harmony
Our ecumenical celebration and walk took place on Pentecost Sunday.
All Churches and parishes on Merseyside were invited to the Pentecost celebrations in Liverpool.
The celebrations started at Liverpool Cathedral
with an act of worship and continued with a procession along Hope Street - no umbrellas needed. During the procession different choirs from our two cathedrals regaled the walkers.
The proceedings culminated in a mass choral performance on the steps of the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Focus on Young People
CTMR was delighted to welcome Youth Leaders from several denominations within the Merseyside Region for their first ecumenical meeting. The leaders, who included 2 chaplains from our local universities, shared some of their precious experiences. It became clear that each denomination has a characteristic way of working with young people and that there is a great variety which was refreshing and enriching.
