Gomersal and the Great War

A display about how Gomersal and its people were affected by the First World War. Research has been done by volunteers using local and national archives and the display has been funded by Community First.

The display was launched at Gomersal Moravian Church on Sunday 3rd August 2014 and part of the display remained there until the end of October. It then moved to St Mary's Church and Gomersal Methodist Church, and is now back at the Moravian Church. If you are interested in hosting the display please contact Revd Newman.

The other part of the display is on permanent display at Red House Museum which is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 5pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 5pm.
