About Us

Churches Together Canterbury consists of 22 churches from across the city. We are from many different denominations and backgrounds but we all have the same basic calling to worship God and to share the good news. It is about relationship and unity between the churches in this great city -  we want to be a visible sign of church unity and to deepen bonds between the churches.  We work to keep the churches informed about what is happening in the city and keep the city informed about what the churches are doing.

We also want to work in partnership with the community and be a sign of God’s grace to organisations in the city, working with those in need through their support of their initiatives.

Churches Together organisations can be found across the country and have the aim of bringing local churches together to support each other, to learn from each other and to explore together what we have in common - our Christian faith.
