Churches Together in Biggleswade had a stall at the Christmas Fair. Biggleswade Christmas Fair 2017
The Churches Together group for Central Bedford gathered together on 29 October in the historic church of St Paul to mark the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the reformation with a service giving thanks to God for times of renewal and reform throughout Christian history. The service was led by Fr Kevin Goss, Vicar of St Paul’s, and readings were read by ministers or representatives from local Roman Catholic, Salvation Army, Anglican churches, as well as from the Miracle Church of God in Christ and the local Society of Friends Meeting. A organ voluntary was played in the middle of the service (acknowledging the tradition of many European Reformed Churches) and this was followed by a time of silence (honouring Quaker practice). The Central Bedford Churches Together group has recently decided to meet for worship together on fifth Sundays in the month when they occur and further deepen their mutual life of prayer and praise.
Bedford Council of Faiths was relaunched with a new logo
